Netherlands: Cellnex buys Red Bee Media data center in the Netherlands

Cellnex has completed the acquisition of Der Bee Media’s Media Gateway data center in Hilversum in the Netherlands. The acquired facility is 15,000 square feet (1,400 square meters) in size. It provides connectivity and colocation for commercial and public broadcasters. It also provides services to other telecom and media companies. According to reports, the data center also has direct connections to ISPs, telecom operators, and major providers.

Robin Verlangen, the commercial director at Cellnex, talked about the acquisition. He said adding the new data center to the company’s portfolio is an amazing and valuable acquisition. Verlangen added that the facility has excellent connectivity as it is close to Amsterdam. He also noted that the facility would be very attractive for its current customers and other enterprises seeking colocation and connectivity services.
