Bechtel and Nautilus have formed a partnership to deliver data centers with better environmental footprints. The centers will reportedly be energy-intensive, delivering high-performance while prioritizing sustainability.

The centers will use Total Resource Usage Effectiveness (TRUE) technology, which uses 70% less power for cooling and naturally cool water from rivers and lakes rather than drinking water. The system also delivers a 30+% net reduction in energy-related CO2 and air pollution.

The system's additional environmental improvements include no refrigerants, no chemicals, no wastewater, no noise, and no harm to fish and wildlife.

The companies say that their partnership will "close the digital divide" by deploying to cities, rural communities and developing countries worldwide.
