: Azintelecom LLC to expand data center footprint in Azerbaijan

AzInTelecom LLC is building a new data center in Azerbaijan. Announced at the recent "Sustainable Development Technologies: Technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and Cloud Solutions," event, Sadig Yolchuev, advisor to the Chairman of AzInTelecom LLC, shared that while the company currently has two data centers in Baku and Yevlakh, the concept of a new data center has "been prepared."
"We expect that the new data center will be bigger and more powerful," he said. Further details around specifications have not yet been shared.
He added that the company is also currently working on a SIMA and cloud technologies project, a digital signature that allows citizens to perform transactions remotely. "All solutions created by our LLC are based on cloud technologies," he commented, continuing: "To date, SIMA has been providing its services only to individuals, and in the near future it is planned to offer services for entrepreneurs."
