atNorth has announced that it has joined the Swedish Data Center Industry Association (SDIA), alongside members Schneider Electric, Huawei and CBRE. The SDIA, represents the data center industry within Sweden and, according to the body, centers on sustainability as an organizational priority and encourages research and innovation projects both in this area and beyond.
Speaking about the company's move to join the representative body, Stefan Jofors-aTribe, Nordic sales director at atNorth, explained that it is "crucial" to it to be "actively involved" in influencing the industry's development in the Swedish market.
He added: "We have an enormous number of important industry-wide issues to work on resolving. Of course, sustainability is at the core of atNorth's operations and will always be our priority. We are also keen to understand how we can support the rapid digitalisation of society through the construction of a functioning infrastructure."
