AtlasEdge: AtlasEdge Announces The Acquisition of Datacenter One

AtlasEdge has announced that it has acquired Datacenter One (DC1) from Star Capital. AtlasEdge is a Liberty Global, DigitalBridge, and Digital Realty-backed company. The firm noted that the deal complements AtlasEdge’s existing data center operations in Hamburg and Berlin. The companies did not reveal the terms of the deal. However, the deal is expected to close before the end of the year if certain conditions are met.
DC1 is Based in Stuttgart and offers colocation services from four data centers in Germany. Its Stuttgart facilities are NB10 and NB8, spanning 17,200 square feet (1,600 square meters) and 3,200 square feet (300 square meters), respectively. It also has a 32,300 square feet (3,000 square meters) data center called LEV1 in Leverkusen and a 79,650 square feet (7,400 square meters) data center called DUS1 located in Dusseldorf.
