Ascenty recently inaugurated its fifth data center in São Paulo, Brazil, at its Hortolândia complex. The facility, spanning 21,000 sqm (226,050 sq ft), offers space for 3,300 racks and 31MW of capacity. So far, the company has invested R$350 million (US$67.3m) in the campus and expects this figure to reach R$920 million (US$177m) by the end of the final phase of the site.

Currently, 20% of the facility has been leased to customers, but by the end of next year, it expects to have leased 60%.
Speaking about Ascenty's future plans, Marcos Siqueira, Ascenty's VP of Operations, said it will complete the sixth unit of the complex that started in 2015 next year, which is also expected to be operational by 2023: "Hortolândia is an important industrial and technological center that is growing. The investment in the municipality is part of our expansion strategy in line with the high demand from companies for digital services."
