American Realty Advisors has completed the acquisition of two data centers in Loudoun County currently occupied by Cyxtera. An affiliate of American Realty Advisors known as ACPF Nova Data Center LLC paid $51 million to acquire a 12-acre site that holds two single-story data centers. One of the data centers spans 6,700 square meters (72,000 square feet), while the other spans 4,481 square meters (48,240 square feet). The properties belonged to Shaw Road LLC before the sale.
These data centers form Cyxtera’s IAD2-A and IAD2-B facilities. Both facilities have a total of 16.6MW of capacity and 6,363 square meters (68,500 square feet) of raised floor. A spokesperson of Cyxtera, Xavier Gonzalez, told Business Journal that the company would continue operating the data centers on the property. According to him, the sale doesn’t affect Cyxtera’s operations.
