Accelevation acquires data center technology integrator Instor

Accelevation, an Ohio-based producer, bought data center machinery integrator Instor. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Baird Business Owner Solutions served as Instor's financial advisor. Instor has over 25 years of data center layout, structured cabling, electrical facilities, specialized containment, and cooling systems experience. The company's primary office is located in the San Francisco Bay Area, and a second office is located in Ashburn.
Accelevation, a group of manufacturing companies sponsored by LFM Capital, covers the data center, electric automobile, and robotics markets. Accelevation is headquartered in Springboro, Ohio, and its portfolio companies are Conatech, Coach Tool & Die, Revolution Iron Works, Southeast Tool, and Skylab Manufacturing. Since August 2022, the company has been a part of LFM's portfolio. According to the CEO of Accelevation, Michael Rubeira, the acquisition will be "highly complementary" to the company's Conatech data center operation.
LFM invests in manufacturing and commercial services corporations in the lower middle market.
