GI Partners: GI Partners acquires fiber firm DQE Communications

Investment firm GI Partners this week announced the closing of the acquisition of Pennsylvanian regional fiber firm DQE Communications from DQE’s parent company, Pittsburgh-based Duquesne Light Holdings Inc. The company has also appointed Michael T. Sicoli as CEO of the company, effective immediately.
