400 N Tampa sells for almost $80M

Park Tower, at 400 N. Tampa St., has been sold to City Office REIT for $79.75 million. 

The seller was New York-based Sterling American Property Inc., which paid $50 million for the tower in 2006.

The 36-story Park Tower was built in 1973, according to property records. Sterling has recently completed some renovations of the property, including a new conference center and fitness center. The sales price breaks down to roughly $160 per square foot.
