STACK Milan Campus: Supernap Italia opens second data center on its Siziano Campus

Supernap Italia has announced the opening of its second data center on its Siziano campus in Milan, Italy. The new data center has two independent data halls. With this, the facility now has 1 million square feet of space (100,000 square meters) and 40MW of capacity. CEO of Supernap Italia, Sherif Rizkalla, said the company set out to develop the most advanced data center in Europe six years ago. He added that completing the second data center on the campus sees Supernap Italia achieve its goal. 

Rizkalla revealed that the company now employs over 50 super-talented individuals while serving some of the most important hyperscale cloud providers in the world. Supernap Italia opened the first phase of the Siziano campus in 2016. The additional halls added have more than doubled the capacity of the site. The company says it will continue exploring expansions in the future.
