While P2 in East Perth will offer 20MW of total planned IT capacity. It’s expected that in phase 1 of practical completion, which is scheduled for the first half of 2020, it will have over 1MW of capacity.

The Tier IV-rated facility space 34,000 square meters (366,000 sq ft) over eight stories and deliver more than 20,000 sq m (215,000 sq ft) of data center floor space and 4,000 sq m (43,000 sq ft) of critical office space. It will directly interconnect with NextDC’s existing S1 and S2 Sydney data centers.

Once completed, KL1 will be the first Uptime Institute (UI) Tier IV certified data centre facility in Peninsular Malaysia.
