After the recent purchase by Telefónica of the Paine data center in Paine, a town south of Santiago de Chile, one of the company's first objectives was to match the topology level with that of the other installations that make up the main network of Telefónica.
With an IT surface of 1000 m2, and a capacity for about 500 racks, the IT power is being deployed in two stages, the first of which reaches 1100 kW. The evolution of the works has allowed to carry out a continuous process that has led to the official design certification dated 02/02/17.
This certification joins those already achieved in Alcalá (Tier IV Gold) and Tamburé, Ixtlahuaca, Lima and Miami (Tier III)
