QTS Irving: QTS expands its connectivity ecosystem with Telia Carrier

May 13, 2021 | Posted by Eric Bell

Telia Carrier has announced that it has deployed its full suite of connectivity services in QTS' Piscataway, New Jersey and Irving, Texas data centers. Telia is also deployed to QTS Richmond, Chicago, Miami, Hillsboro, and Atlanta.

The 'full suite' of network services includes DWDM, DDoS, IP Transit, Cloud Connect, and Ethernet.

The network deployment adds to QTS' New Jersey Network Access Point's (NJ NAP) expanding ecosystem of networks. The Piscataway facility was previously built and operated by Dupont Fabros before being acquired by QTS in 2016.

Meanwhile, the positioning of QTS' mega data center in Irving, Texas, enables optimal, fiber-rich connectivity coast-to-coast. This move will subsequently support "increasing demand" from both QTS and Telia Carrier customers, who seek diverse long-haul routes in the Southwest and into Mexico as well as IP, Cloud, Ethernet, DWDM and DDoS services.
