NTT Zurich 1: NTT to expand its Zurich 1 data center

According to Zuercher Unterlaender, NTT has broken ground for expanding its Zurich 1 data center in Rümlang, Switzerland. The facility currently has 70,000 square feet (6,500 sqm) of space, and the expansion will see the Company add a new building B to the site. This new building will give the facility an extra 48,000 square feet (4,500 sqm) of space.

Olivier Honold of NTT GDC said a B-building will now join the existing building with a space of 4,500 sqm. The first phase of building B is scheduled to be completed in 2022.
