Facebook Eagle Mountain Utah: Facebook will expand Eagle Mountain campus by 500k SqFt

Facebook has announced it will expand the size of a data center under construction in Eagle Mountain from 1 million square feet to 1.5 million square feet, according to a Wednesday news release from the data center.

Facebook first broke ground on the campus in May 2018. To date, Facebook has poured over 41,000 yards of structural concrete and incorporated over 7,000 tons of steel.

Facebook anticipates the facility to be LEED Certified Gold and powered with 100% renewable energy.
