According to multiple reports, vXchange has sold its Austin, Texas data center to Element Critical. The data center has a 104,000 square feet space, and it is located in the middle of an 18-acre campus. Besides, the facility also has the capacity to expand to up to 26MW of power. The sale of the data center is now vXchange’s third facility sale in 12 months. It sold its 84,000 square feet Santa Clara data center to Coligix earlier in the year. It also sold its 16,000 square feet Minneapolis facility to Cologix late last year.

vXchange first bought the facility in 2017 from Digital Realty for $20 million. It was also leasing the facility from Digital Realty before the purchase. vXchange currently operates eight data center facilities in the United States with a total space of 300,000 square feet of space.
