BDx Nanjing: BDx launches Phase One of its data center in Nanjing, China

Hong Kong-based data center firm, Big Data Exchange (BDx), announced the launch of the first phase of its NKG Data Center Campus in Nanjing, China. The construction of the facility started early last year. The data center campus will have a 35MW capacity once completed. BDx announced that the first phase is ready and that it has begun serving customers.

Besides, the facility is built to Tier III standards, and it currently has a 4MW capacity with a floor space of 134,549 square feet (12,500 sqm). It also has a PUE of 1.53, and it can hold up to 1,000 racks. EVP & CEO for BDx Greater China, Bill Gaoa, commented on the launch. He said that the Company scaled through the challenges of completing Phase one of the data center during a pandemic. He also added that launching the first phase of the data center allows the Company to have a new state-of-the-art data center in China.
